Budaun October 14th, samples of cough syrup were collected and sent to the laboratory for testing in Badayun. In connection with the incident of fake medicines and cough syrup found in Agra, which resulted in the deaths of children, Drug Inspector Lovkush Prasad conducted a raid on medical stores in the district on Tuesday. Additionally, a thorough investigation of the purchase and sale records of the mentioned medical stores was carried out. Once the test reports of the collected samples are received, legal action will be initiated.
Drug Inspector Lovkush Prasad stated that on Tuesday, two samples (including one cough syrup) were collected from Rajiv Kumar Rajat Kumar Medical Store, located opposite C.H.C., Station Road, Shri Narayan Ganj Ujhani, Police Station Kotwali, Badayun district. Similarly, three samples (including two cough syrups) were collected from Pooja Medical Store, Railway Road, Ujhani, Police Station Ujhani, Badayun district, after thorough inspection and suspicion, and sent to the government laboratory for testing.
