District Authorities Crack Down on Illicit Medical Facilities in Badaun, Seal Fake Hospital
Badaun, Uttar Pradesh: Authorities took strict action against a fake hospital operating in the Navada area of Badaun. The health department team conducted a raid and sealed the Sayra Hospital after discovering it was functioning without proper registration or a doctor panel.

On Saturday, a joint inspection was carried out by Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Pawan jaysi and Dr. Aslam, following instructions from the Chief Medical Officer of Badaun. During the inspection in Navada, the team found that the hospital lacked any registration. The operator, Mohammed Jishan, claimed that he had submitted the registration application to the CMO's office but had not yet received approval.
Further investigation revealed that the hospital displayed papers claiming the presence of a doctor’s panel, which was found to be entirely fake and used unlawfully within the hospital premises.
Additionally, Dr. Ankit Purohit was found to be listed as a doctor on the fake panel without any proper authorization. Upon realizing this, Dr. Purohit filed a written complaint with the District Magistrate of Badaun. Following orders from the CMO, an inquiry was initiated against the hospital, and necessary action has been instructed.
Such illegal hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and diagnostic centers are reportedly operating across the district, putting innocent lives at risk. There are frequent reports of patients’ treatment going wrong and deaths caused by fake medical procedures. Strict action against these illegal establishments is urgently required.
There are also reports of fake blood testing centers (labs) and ultrasound centers operating in collusion with unscrupulous individuals, providing fraudulent reports that endanger lives.
